Students are introduced to key issues relating to learning and individual differences in learning, and apply these ideas to educational technology. The properties, merits and methods of web-based and adaptive learning environments will be studied. Students will develop their understanding of adaptive learning support through interaction with real systems, and through discussion of design issues for adaptive learning environments.
