Café Masters events offer a mixture of general and School-specific sessions to help you learn more about the experience of studying for a Masters degree at the University of Birmingham.
These are informal sessions on opportunities for you to find out what Masters study is all about and the directions in which a Birmingham Masters degree might take you.
Café Masters 'drop in' session: Medical and Dental Sciences
Date: Wednesday 15th May 2013, 12.00-13.00
Room: Atrium, 1st Floor of the Medical School (by the Computer Cluster)
Would you like to know more about the postgraduate study opportunities available within the College of Medical and Dental Sciences?
If so, then come along to one of our MDS Café Masters 'drop in' sessions. Have a coffee and a cake, find out more about our Masters and PhD opportunities and have the chance to discuss your future plans with someone one-on-one. You’ll also be able to meet some current postgraduate students and hear about their experiences.
These events are smaller than the usual Café Masters sessions but offer one-to-one support specific to opportunties in MDS. Being aware of the options available to you will help you to make decisions and to plan for your future.

This event is aimed at final-year students thinking of applying for a Master’s degree within the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences, students keen to find out more about postgraduate study before considering their options and other undergraduate students for whom a Master’s degree may be an option in the near future.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to talk to current Masters students, expert Careers Advisers, the Postgraduate Recruitment Team or a contact especially for international students.
