Moving in

Moving into student accommodation can be hectic - make sure you know what to expect, and what you will need to do.

Book your move in slot

Due to the numbers of students moving into student accommodation, we allocate time slots for you to move in during Arrivals Weekend (16th-17th September 2017). You will be contacted about booking your move-in slot after your accommodation has been confirmed. It is important that you move in during this time.

Getting to your accommodation

Make sure you plan your journey and know where you need to be, to avoid any last minute panics. There will be signage to direct you, but being clear which accommodation site you are going to and clear directions will help. When you reach your accommodation, security staff will be on hand to direct you to your drop off zone.

Unloading your belongings

Once you have your keys and have parked up, you can start moving in. Our student staff will be on hand to help you move in; feel free to ask them for help!

Please be aware that it will be very busy around accommodation sites throughout the weekend and you will have a limited timeframe to keep a car on site. There will be free parking in the multi-storey North East Car Park. Our Security teams will be on hand to direct you.

Help and support

Our friendly student staff (pink t-shirts) will be happy to help you unload and move your belongings to your accommodation - feel free to ask them for any help you might need. Each student village has its own reception, who will also be available to help you with any queries about your accommodation.
