We offer a wide range of specially adapted accommodation for students with disabilities and welcome everyone to apply for University accommodation.
To help us find the best place for you to live, you’ll need to tell us as much about your disability or health condition as you can on your confidential application form. Specially adapted accommodation
You’ll find we have a wide range of adapted accommodation across a variety of locations. This includes rooms with mobility adaptations, and visual and vibrating fire alarms. There’s more information on the Disabled Go website and we have a mobility map (PDF - 373KB) of the University campus available online too.
So that you can experience our accommodation first hand before you start your course, we offer Taster Stays where you spend a few hours or stay overnight during the summer in our Vale Village.

To make all your study and other support needs can be arranged well before you come to University, we recommend that your contact the Disability and Learning Support Service as soon as possible. If you don't do this you may not be able to access the full range of support available. You’ll be asked to complete a Student details form and a Consent form which are available from the Academic Services useful forms page.
