Undergraduate Open Days

The University is pleased to invite your staff and students to our annual open day on Friday 26 June 2015.

This is an excellent opportunity to explore the campus and experience university life first-hand. All departments providing undergraduate courses will hold displays and most will offer subject-based talks. Current students and members of academic staff will be available to discuss courses and advise on admissions and entry requirements.

Talks of general interest taking place will include topics such as 'tips for applicants', 'student life' and 'student finance'. In addition, we will once again be running a 'Teachers’ Forum' designed to provide you with information about student admissions and new developments in higher education.

For group bookings please complete the group booking form

If you are unable to book using the group booking form, please contact marketing@contacts.bham.ac.uk

Travel and Parking

There is no coach parking available on campus and we can only accommodate a limited number of coaches to drop off and pick up for open day (coach parking will be arranged off-site for those who have booked to drop-off on campus). Therefore, only a limited number of schools will be able to travel to open day by coach, unless arrangements are made by the school to drop-off and park outside of the university campus.

As the University has its own train station, the easiest way to reach the University is by train and we would recommend this means of travel to visit our open days. The train link to Birmingham New Street station links you to a number of city centre car/coach parks.

Once you have requested an open day booking, confirmation will be sent to you, followed by an information pack. This will contain travel directions, drop-off arrangements (if you have booked one of the limited drop-off slots) and a copy of the printed programme to help you plan your day.
