Undergraduate Open Days

The University is pleased to invite your staff and students to our annual open day on Friday 27 June 2014.

This is an excellent opportunity to explore the campus and experience university life firsthand. All departments providing undergraduate courses will hold displays and most will offer subject-based talks. Current students and members of academic staff will be available to discuss courses and advise on admissions and entry requirements.

Talks of general interest taking place will include topics such as 'tips for applicants', 'student life' and 'student finance'. In addition, we will once again be running a 'Teachers’ Forum' designed to provide you with information about student admissions and new developments in higher education.

For group bookings please email schools-liaison@bham.ac.uk

Travel and Parking

Our campus can only accommodate a limited number of coaches to drop off and pick up for open day, and this is now fully booked. Travel to open day by coach is therefore unfortunately no longer available.

As the University has its own train station, the easiest way to reach the University is by train and we would recommend this means of travel to visit our open days. The train link to Birmingham New Street station links you to a number of city centre car/coach parks.

Once you have booked your place, an information pack will be sent to you. This will contain travel directions, parking arrangements and a copy of the printed programme to help you plan your day.
