Year Three
This module aims to develop further understanding of current physiotherapy practice through study of more complex aspects. Students will explore a range of settings in which physiotherapy may take place, evaluating how service provision evolves to meet emerging health priorities. Advanced reasoning and skills acquisition will be a focus and examination of evidence drawn from research, policy and practice will assist learners evaluate their practice. Due attention to user involvement and contribution will be considered and examined. The module aims to enable the emerging graduate to be 'fit for practice' being able to work with others flexibly, within a patient-centred and evidence-based approach.
