In this module, you will learn about a range of teaching/coaching approaches and evaluate their effectiveness; you will analyse and understand the theories (and research) that underpins effective professional practice (including theories of learning); and you will have opportunities to apply your knowledge and skills into practical sessions (games and athletics).

Delivery

This module has a unique blend of lectures, practical sessions (to examine the practical implications of theories and research) and seminars to support you reach deeper understandings. 

Assessment

Essay, exam, and delivery of practical sessions
