Award Description

The Association of Dental Groups (ADG) offers bursaries of up to £1,000 for undergraduate entries relating to professionalism in dentistry. The Professionalism domain has four major competencies - they are:

  • Ethics
  • Professionalism with regard to patients
  • Professionalism with regard to self
  • Professionalism with regard to clinical team and peers

Value of Award

Three awards are available; A gold award of £1,000, a silver award of £750 and a bronze award of £250.

Eligibility Criteria

These bursaries are open to all undergraduate students within the School of Dentistry who are undertaking voluntary projects relating to professionalism in dentistry.

How to Apply

You can apply for this award by completing and submitting an application form, which can be found on the ADG Undergraduate Bursary web page. The application must be supported by a reference from a tutor and college. The references of the short listed candidates will be contacted prior to the award.

In order to be considered, completed applications must be submitted by the deadline of 30 November 2014.
