Award Description

The Brockhouse Scholarship is open to full-time undergraduate students in their first year of study who are undertaking a programme within one of the engineering schools at the University of Birmingham. The number and value of awards available in any given year will depend on the availability of funds and the standard of applicants.

Value of Award

The value of each scholarship will be determined by the Brockhouse Scholarship Selection Panel subject to available funds and quality of applications. Typically awards are valued at around £1,000 per academic year.

Eligibility Criteria

The Brockhouse Scholarship is open to current full-time undergraduate students in their first year of study who are undertaking a programme within one of the engineering schools at the University of Birmingham.

Children and Grandchildren of Brockhouse Forgings Ltd employees may also apply regardless of subject area and will be given priority in the awarding of the scholarship.

If your application is shortlisted, you will be invited to attend a short interview with a member of the Brockhouse Group and a member of FGA, following which you will receive the outcome of your application.
