Our University of Birmingham Careers & Admissions Conference provides updates on admissions and applications for competitive courses. We also offer collaborative conferences in partnership with The University of Nottingham, held annually in Manchester and London.

University of Birmingham Careers and Admissions Conference

This popular event keeps teachers and careers advisers working with sixth form students updated on admissions and applying for competitive courses. It also provides the opportunity to find out more about courses and opportunities offered at the University of Birmingham.

The next Careers and Admissions Conference will take place at the University on Thursday 21 April 2016

The programme can be found here and if you would like to book a place please contact Kathryn Barnett on

University of Birmingham and the University of Nottingham Collaborative Conferences for Teachers and Advisers

We organise Conferences for teachers and careers advisers jointly with The University of Nottingham in Manchester and London. The programmes include a range of speakers from both universities giving delegates the opportunity to be updated by key admissions staff. These Conferences give delegates an opportunity to get advice about entry to courses at two of the Midlands largest universities.

Manchester Conference for Advisers and Teachers

The annual Manchester Conference provides an ideal opportunity for teachers and careers advisers located in the North to get the latest admissions information from the University of Birmingham and The University of Nottingham.

This usually takes place in February and details for the 2017 conference will be published here when finalised.
