Resources for university applicants

The University of Birmingham’s Student Recruitment & Outreach team has created several videos and other resources that teachers and careers advisers can use to help guide students in years 12 and 13.

We also recommend these useful resources:

Skills4Uni

This interactive website helps sixth form students develop the skills they’ll need at university, with tips, advice, activities and materials.

Junior prospectus

Aimed at years 10 and upwards, our junior prospectus features exercises to introduce higher education. It can also be used alongside our learning resource pack

Essential guide to university applications

Our guide for students, teachers and careers advisers, including advice for applying to university, personal statements and student funding. You may also be interested in watching our latest video on 'Where will your degree take you?' to help encourage students to apply for subjects like History and Philosophy.
