Module description

Human geography has undergone a number of paradigm shifts in the past 50 years. This module introduces and explores the development of, and recent debates within key sub-disciplines of subject. Students are introduced to a range of theoretical lenses and concepts, which are then applied to real-world examples, in both the lectures and within the workshop sessions. Specific topics covered are: urban, social, cultural, development, economic, political and historical georgraphies.
