Module description

North American Cinema (a) aims to provide students with a grounding in the central issues of US filmmaking, covering issues of narrative structure, cinematic style and authorial intent. A range of films from different eras and movements in North American Cinema is offered, covering both the classical and contemporary periods of Hollywood.
