Module description

This module will cover the three main periods of the Indian Wars: the wars in the Eastern Woodlands, 1600-1814; the wars in the Plains, 1840-1890; the Apache wars, 1860-1886. It will emphasise the clash between European and American Indian cultures, and examine particularly the 'warfare culture' of each of the contending groups.
