Module description

This module is designed to show the various elements of 'traditional' archaeology which have forensic application, and how these might be successfully integrated or utilised within criminal investigation, notably in the location and excavation of individual and mass graves. These include: the growth and development of forensic archaeology and anthropology; the structural basis of the police and judicial system; human osteology; taphonomy, the relationship between archaeological science and forensive science, and ethics.
