Module description

This module introduces students to the study of Greek mythology. It raises questions about mythology, how it originates and what functions it serves. The method of the module is to look in the first semester at the contexts of Greek myth and in the second at particular theories for the interpretation of mythology which have been proposed since the early 19th century.
