Module description

This module builds on the knowledge acquired at Advanced German Modules III and IV. It gives students the opportunity to develop a higher proficiency in written and spoken German. Open-ended tasks and discussion exercises foster communication skills and encourage self-expression, while structured comprehension and linguistic exercises consolidate understanding of the grammatical elements picked out from the texts. Students will also be encouraged to develop translation and interpretation skills from German into English.
