Module description

This module builds on the knowledge acquired at Advanced Spanish Levels I to V. It will teach you to critically analyse newspaper articles, develop different styles of writing and undertake research on topics of your choice. This module also aims at enhancing your ability to express yourself in Spanish through the preparation of an oral presentation to be delivered at the end of the semester.

By the end of the module you should be able to:
Write in Spanish creatively and extensively using different styles of writing; Better understand newspaper formatting and language;
Undertake individual research of material using Spanish newspapers, magazines and the internet;
Use IT tools such as word-processing packages and the world wide web more effectively;
Access the language autonomously;
Present information clearly to an audience.
