Module description

This module will introduce students to the analysis of the British approach to providing welfare services. It will focus on the nature of a range of services and on the way they are delivered, especially emphasising the contributions of the different sectors - the market, the state and the voluntary sector. The module will provide both a theoretical analysis of welfar provision as well as direct exposure to welfare provision in practice.
