Module description

This module examines one of the key roles of social workers. Assessment is explored from the perspectives of social work agencies in Britain and abroad. Service user perspectives of the assessment process are included. Models of assessment and theories relating to assessment are examined. Issues relating to Adult protection are also included in this module. Anti-discriminatory practice is at the core of the module. The module is offered at both H and M Levels in order to facilitate access as widely as possible in order to meet the learning needs of participants and employee development needs of organisations.
