Module description

The aim of this module is to give participants a grounding in the core skills and knowledge necessary for the community justice settings in which practitioners and managers operate. The module begins by encouraging participants to reflect on their own learning and development particularly with a view to critically evaluating their own performance as part of continuous professional development. It then explores other key areas; creating and maintaining partnerships, working to targets, project management, leadership and the management of change. These are all essential skills for community justice practitioners and managers. Participants will be enabled to strengthen their professional practice in their current areas of activity, but it will also provide the basis for undertaking additional management/development roles and responsibilities.
