Module description

The aim of this module is to introduce key concepts associated with policy analysis and a set of tools to analyse the process and content of policy-making. The objectives are to: provide students with theoretical ideas associated with policy-making and analysis, provide students with a set of skills to analyse how policy decisions are made and whether policy outcomes are effective in achieving objectives. the module draws on a range of disciplines, particularly political science and economics, and therefore provides a multi-disciplinary approach to the understanding of policy analysis.
