Module description

Planetary astronomy is now entering a new age. In recent years it has become clear that planetary systems are commonplace in the Universe, and that in at least some cases, they are very different from our own solar system. Further understanding of the formation and properties of planetary systems requires both a detailed study of the planets to which we have access, and the study of planetary systems around other stars. This module will discuss both aspects.
