Academic Skills Centre (ASC)

Students talkingThe University Academic Skills Centre, located in the University’s Main Library, supports all new undergraduate students to develop their mathematical, academic writing and general academic skills.

The Centre provides drop-in support sessions to help students to become better prepared for the mathematical components of their studies; plus sessions to help students improve their general academic skills and writing.

In addition to the drop-in support sessions the Centre has a comprehensive general academic skills and writing workshop programme.
