In April 2013, the University of Birmingham brought together partner organisations and friends of the University to launch a new Economic Impact Survey report (developed with Oxford Economics).
The report explores the economic impact of the University of Birmingham as an employer, as an educator and as a research hub. It considers the contribution to the local community, the University as an international gateway, our culture assets and capital development programme.
The University's Vice-Chancellor, Professor David Eastwood discusses the report in this video, recorded at the first University Annual Meeting.
