Description

We need you to help us to break the Guinness World Record for “Most people balancing books on their heads” (which currently stands at 939) on Sunday 27 October in our beautiful Great Hall, Aston Webb Building.

All you need to do is balance a book on your head and walk 5 metres without dropping it or touching it with your hand! If that sounds difficult, don’t worry – if you trip up you can try again!

Join us in the Great Hall from 12pm to become a record breaker. While you are on campus, why not enjoy some of our other festival events including UniSlam! the UK’s first University poetry slam competition.

All ages are welcome, so bring your family and friends and a book each (no bigger than 31 cm x 23 cm (12.2 in x 9 in), and no smaller than 23 cm x 15 cm (9 in x 5.9 in). *

Get practicing – remember, dedication is what you need if you want to be a record breaker!

*There will be books provided if you are not able to bring your own
