The College of Engineering and Physical Sciences celebrates the achievements of its 24 student societies with the annual EPS Societies’ Awards. We have a strong tradition of outstanding educational success; from public astronomy events to designing Formula Student cars, journalism to diversity our societies do astonishing work not just in academia but also to promote careers opportunities, industrial visits, guest speakers and, of course, social events. These Awards act as a reminder of the hard work and dedication undertaken by students to make the University a better, more vibrant place to study and play.

Congratulations to all of our very worthy winners!
There could only be one winner but the shortlist was phenomenal!
More than 750 nominations were received to the 2016 EPS Societies' Awards
On Awards night we hold a raffle raising money for charity. This year we raised £1,000 for childhood cancer research conducted here at the University.
There are currently 24 student societies in the College from public astronomy to building racing cars, journalism to diversity.
