Marcella Keher has developed a career in higher education over twenty years, and in higher education management for the last sixteen years. She was Head of the Academic Quality Unit at Edge Hill University College between 1992 and 1995, before taking up the post of Head of Faculty Services for one of five faculties at the University of Central Lancashire.
She held this post for eight years and was then appointed to the post of Head of International Operations, also at the University of Central Lancashire. Marcella joined the University Birmingham in 2005 as School Manager for the School of Engineering, and took up her current role of Head of Operations for the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences in March 2008.
Marcella completed a BA in Politics and History at the University of Salford in 1984, a Diploma in Management Studies at Manchester Metropolitan University in 1991, and the LLM in Employment Law at the University of Central Lancashire in 1998.
