Health Economics

Louise is a Research Fellow within the Health Economics Unit at the University of Birmingham.

Louise’s research relates to applied economic evaluations in the areas of sexual health and women’s reproductive health. Louise is also involved in work which aims to explore the methodologies used to measure outcomes in these areas.

Dr Thomas Jackson

Dr Jackson is a geriatrician and clinical research fellow. He is investigating delirium and dementia in general hospital settings as part of a joint Research into Ageing Fund/AgeUK and British Geriatrics Society Clinical Fellowship.

Dr Saiju Jacob

Consultant Neurologist and Hon. Senior Research Fellow

Currently Consultant Neurologist at the Queen Elizabeth Neuroscience Centre, University Hospitals of Birmingham. Dr Jacob is interested in clinical neuroimmunology and runs a weekly regional clinic where he sees patients with various neuroimmunological disorders.

Sheela Jayaraman is a Senior Stem Cell Research Fellow.

Sheela specialises in understanding the structure and function of the PRH/HHex transcription factor and its roles in growth, development and differentiation.
