The College of Medical & Dental Sciences Graduate School undertakes the vital role of co-ordinating postgraduate research activities leading to the award of higher degrees within the College of Medical & Dental Sciences. Our overriding objective being the provision of the best possible training environment to our postgraduate researchers.
The academic Schools within the College combine an internationally recognised strength in teaching and research with exciting initiatives in new fields of study, with postgraduate researchers working typically with world leaders in their field.
What do I do if I want to complete a postgraduate research degree in Birmingham?
All funded studentships available within the College are advertised on the Doctoral ReSEARCHer Database (Powered by Findaphd.com). Studentship opportunities are advertised through the year with the majority being advertised in the Autumn.
There are also opportunities for self funding students and these can be explored by studying the postgraduate prospectus that outlines the huge spectrum of research opportunities and training available across the College of Medical & Dental Sciences.
