Clinical Research Officer in R & D at the QE Hospital.

We seek to appoint a Clinical Research Officer to the Protocol Development Service (PDS) based in the Research and Development (R & D), Department at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHBFT). In this post you will be primarily involved in supporting NHS clinicians and University academics in developing clinical research grant applications for a range of funding sources, in particular, the Department of Health National Institute of Health Research (NIHR).
The appointee will have at least a first degree, ideally from a biomedical/ healthcare profession, and post graduate degree/ experience in performing research and academic writing (publications/reports/thesis/grants).
The post-holder will be part of an already existing team (3 other officers) as part of the PDS team, which is led by Hilary Fanning (Deputy Director of Delivery, UHBFT).
