Karl Nightingale (Academic lead, Year 3 Biomedical Sciences) will discuss the range of teaching opportunities in programmes across the college, what you can gain from engaging with them, and who to contact if you want to make the next step.
Clare Ray - (MDS lead for Outreach and Widening participation) will introduce the opportunities to get involved as a tutor on the University’s widening access programme Access to Birmingham, which is a fantastic introduction to teaching, assessment and feedback. She will also be able to discuss other teaching opportunities for post-docs in the College.
David Morley – (Professional and Academy Skills lead) will discuss the PAS module and other openings for you to be involved with.
Dr Nikolaos Batis (Winner of the PERCAT Postdoctoral Excellence Award for Teaching 2017) will give an insight of the benefits he has gained through supporting teaching within the College of Medical and Dental Sciences.
