Development and Alumni Relations Office (DARO)

The Development and Alumni Relations Office (DARO) offers a programme of events and activities to help students get the most from our global network of more than 300,000 alumni (graduates), generating opportunities for them to stay involved with the University, and to encourage philanthropic support for charitable projects across campus.

The University of Birmingham was founded on charitable giving. From life-saving research into global maternal health to developing ways to treat cancer differently, find out how we are fundraising for a range of pioneering projects addressing society's biggest challenges, following the record-breaking success of the Circles of Influence campaign.
