Twenty Birmingham Business School MSc students were selected to participate in a Leadership Development Programme. On Monday 8th June Nicky Griffiths, Partnership Manager at UKTI presented the students with a two day challenge to attract Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) into the city.

Bringing together seventy six participants from the Business Schools of Birmingham, Aston, Loughborough, Nottingham and Warwick, the Midlands Regional Doctoral Colloquium offered an opportunity for doctoral students to present their work in front of their peers as well as an opportunity to be a part of a wider research community within the Midlands.

Established since 1994, the APPUG brings together Members of the House of Commons and Lords with Vice Chancellors and other university representatives to discuss matters affecting Higher Education.
