The Economist Intelligence Unit – famed for its quality-of-life index of major world cities and its global forecasting tool for the world economy – included Birmingham in its global list of the top 100 institutions of excellence that offer MBA degrees in 2009: the MBA programme also features in the 2010 Financial Times Global Top 100, ranked 75th globally and 13th in the UK
