The Development Alumni Business Engagement team (DABE) are responsible for generating opportunities for former students (alumni) to stay involved with the University and encouraging philanthropic support for charitable projects across the university’s five colleges.
Backed by the Universitys Circles of Influence campaign, DABE aims to raise funds for projects that will help transform the lives of people in Birmingham, the UK and worldwide.
There are five areas within DABE, which collectively work together towards an overall aim of engaging with the alumni community.

Business Engagement: The Business Engagement team works with industry and the public sector, building industrial partnerships and collaborations. They work closely with key regional, national and international partners to develop academic-industry links and strategic business partnerships that will help to enhance our performance and status as an engaged University.
