Business Systems manage the development, implementation and support of applications (such as those for Finance, Student Records, Human Resources and Business Intelligence). These services underpin the smooth running of the University and are used by applicants, students (e.g. Web Registration) and staff (e.g. e-recruitment).
The focus of Business Systems is the delivery (or enabling the delivery by colleagues) of a high quality experience for applicants, students and staff.
To achieve this, Business Systems staff work closely with colleagues across the University - from working with senior management on formulating strategy, through the selection and procurement of new software packages, implementing the software (including integrating with existing applications), to ensuring that application services continue to run smoothly day to day.
