The University has a Netskills Gold Scheme licence to use all of the Netskills training materials for free. A wide range of materials are available and they can be downloaded to assist in training, teaching or individual learning. Subject areas include blogs, web 2.0, podcasting, multimedia, CSS, accessibility and much more.
Hopefully there will be something useful there for most web staff and if you are regularly asked for web advice by academics/colleagues in your department then this might prove a valuable resource to point people at.
Materials are accessible through the completion of an online registration form. The University of Birmingham and the users university email address need to be added at the relevant points on the form.
