Some users report that using Contensis can be slow. There could be a number of reasons for this including:
Browser – if you are using IE or Firefox try Chrome instead as this browser can be quicker.
Speed of your computer – If you have an old computer this will affect the performance of Contensis. If you have any questions about your computer set up contact the IT Service Desk. Contensis CMS is uses quite a lot of memory. If Contensis noticably gets slower throughout the day then this may be an issue and it would be worth speaking to your Computer Officer to see if the memory could be increased. If this is not possible it may help to restart your computer at lunchtime to free up some memory for the afternoon's work.
Network – network speed varies depending on where you are working. If you are in an area with slow network connection, this will affect the performance of Contenis.
Clear your browser cache – this will enable your browser to run more efficiently and may help performance of Contensis
