Our campus tours will depart from this meeting point and there will be plenty of support services and wellbeing information that students and their parents will be interested in hosted in the Marquee during the weekend including: Welcome Information Point, Campus Tour Booking Desk, International Students’ Information Point, IT Service Desk, Finance Office, Library Services, Student Fees, Service Birmingham Council Tax Clinic, Chaplaincy, Guild of Students, Accommodation Services Mentor Scheme, HAS Catering, Careers Network for International Students, Worklink.

The Letters Marquee is for all students – UK, EU and International – who need to request a proof of registration letter. Letters can be used for a variety of purposes, including opening a student bank account.

UK & EU Welcome Hub
The Hub offers services to UK and EU students who need to obtain their University ID card (the majority of UK students will receive their ID card prior to arrival – if they register online and upload their picture as part of Online Registration before 6 September 2016).

International Welcome Hub
The Hub offers bespoke services for International students. Essential Right to Study/Visa checks are undertaken here and International students can also obtain their University ID card.

International students who apply for a visa which requires them to collect a ‘Biometric Residence Permit’ (BRP) can, if requested when submitting their visa application, collect their BRP card from the University of Birmingham campus. Please note that access to the BRP Collection Zone is on an appointment basis only.
