Some students might need to arrange temporary accommodation for a few nights before moving into their new student accommodation.
There are plenty of hotels in Birmingham and near to the University, as well as guest houses and Bed and Breakfasts (B&Bs). Guest houses and B&Bs are often smaller than hotels and may offer limited services (e.g. no restaurant), or may expect you to be out during the day. Check when booking to make sure the accommodation suits your needs.
VenueBirmingham offers overnight accommodation five minutes walk from the centre of campus at the University's Conference Park hotel.
There is a wide range of hotels and accommodation around the University and in the city centre. We are unable to recommend any specific hotels, but it is easy to search online using popular travel websites. You may want to consider price, facilities, distance to the University and quality ratings before booking.
