This is the main induction event for all Ancient and Medieval History students. For the first hour you will be at a shared session with all students doing a degree in the History department; in this, you will be welcomed to the department and receive important general information, including details of the academic and welfare support available to you. In the second hour you will be taken to the Arts building (Lecture room 4) and meet in a smaller group with students doing the same degree programme as you; in this session, the structure of your degree will be explained to you and information given about your weekly timetable.
This event is important and you should make every effort to attend.
