This is a fantastic opportunity to meet other new international students in an informal environment whilst enjoying the English cultural tradition of a cream tea.
The venue overlooks the lawns and lake in the Vale student village, and if it is sunny the doors will be opened so that attendees may sit outside on the lawn. Shackleton Hall is a 20 minute walk from the main Edgbaston Campus.
Cream Tea:
Cream tea is a meal traditionally taken in the afternoon; it includes scones (a cross between bread and cake), jam, cream and a cup of tea. Entry to this event is free. Cream teas can be purchased for £3.00 at the event.
