WHM stands for Widening Horizons Modules.  WHMs are modules that can be taken alongside your main degree programme, allowing you to explore a different discipline during your undergraduate studies. Schools and Departments across the University offer modules in a wide range of subjects and disciplines.  During the WHM Registration Event in the Great Hall, you can speak to tutors about the modules which interest you, and complete an online form to indicate your preferred choices.

You are very welcome to attend this registration event if you are required to register for an WHM as part of your programme, however if you have already decided which modules you would like to choose, you can submit the online form without attending the event. The only exception to this is if you are planning on choosing any modules offered by Languages for All. If this is the case, it is compulsory to visit them in the Great Hall, Aston Webb Building on 22 September, between 10.30am and 3.30pm for a language proficiency assessment, prior to submitting your online form.
