Essential Administration

There are some essential tasks you need to complete before you are able to begin your studies with us. Follow the checklist below to make sure that you are ready.

Complete Online Registration

You will receive an email inviting you to complete Online Registration. This email will contain your username and password. You must keep these safe, as you will use them throughout your time at the University. Never share your password with anyone else, including members of staff.

Complete Online Registration

When completing your Online Registration, please note that all Presessional courses are classified as undergraduate at this stage, regardless of your future course of study.

Start using your University email address

The email you will be sent, inviting you to complete Online Registration will contain a username and password. This is the same username and password that you will use throughout your University life, to log on to the Student Intranet and your University email account.

If you applied through an Agent, they may have created an email address for you or used their own email address in your application. Please ask your Agent to always forward any emails from the University on to you. Please also check your spam or junk folder, in case University emails are automatically filtered out by your provider.

Once you have completed University Registration, we will start to send you messages on your University email account. You should check this regularly so you don’t miss important announcements.

You can access your student email account via Outlook on the web and the MyUoB App. Outlook on the web can be accessed via ‘Digital Services' on the student intranet.

Information about the MyUoB app and how to download it can also be found on the student intranet.
