Entry requirements

The following information is for guidance only and should be used together with the University's general entrance requirements and any specific degree programme requirements. 

Foundation Pathways

Students who have obtained an overall average of 85% in the Shahadat-al-thanwiia-al-a’ama (to include 85% in Mathematics for our Engineering and Physical Sciences pathway) will be considered for entry to the Foundation Programme before progressing to their chosen undergraduate degree programme.

The University will consider students who have taken GCE A Level examinations, the International Baccalaureate (IB), or a suitable foundation programme, such as the Birmingham International Academy, for entrance to undergraduate programmes. 


Students who have completed a first degree of four years duration will normally be considered for admission onto a Masters degree.

English Language

You may be required to provide evidence of your English ability. Please view the entry requirements for specific programme requirements.

The British Council
