[Daniel, Aerospace Engineering alumnus] I'm currently becoming a pilot, so in the next ten years I hope to become a test pilot in the US Airforce and, cross my fingers, an astronaut later down the line.

[Footage of University of Birmingham campus] Right when I stepped on Birmingham's campus, I was drawn to it.

I think it has the right balance between being a campus university, as well as being a city university.

I've joined gymnastics, I tried archery, judo, lifesaving, ballroom dancing.

[Still images from previous gliding event in Stratford] I planned a gliding event with my course-mates on the Aerospace programme. I currently glide down at Stratford-upon-Avon, so I brought all my course-mates down and they got to fly the gliders and do some aerobatics.

[Clips of Daniel operating Aerospace equipment at the University of Birmingham, including a flight simulator and wind tunnel] Aerospace Engineering is really challenging, you just need to keep your head in the game, don't give up. Push yourself to try new things and build your skills, you only get this opportunity once or twice in your lifetime where you have the world at your fingertips.
