Regional opportunities

The West Midlands provides a great range of opportunities for graduates. According to the West Midlands Growth Company, the region is seeing an economic revival with rapid growth.

The West Midlands Combined Authority has one of the fastest growing economies of any Combined Authority in the country, with a GVA growth rate of 20.2% over the last five years.

If you are looking to stay in the region after graduation, in addition to Careers Network, the following may be of some assistance in helping to find opportunities and sources of support.

Careers Connect

Don’t forget to use Careers Connect, where you can search for opportunities by location as well as by sector. Careers Network receives a range of local and nationally based opportunities on a daily basis.

Recruitment agencies

As covered in the ‘Recruitment Agencies – how to use them' page, agencies can provide a great start in building your experience and getting a foot in the door. A quick scan of any online search engine will throw up a range of agencies, but these are just some of those based in the West Midlands who may be able to help:

Please note that these agencies are not endorsed in any way by Careers Network.
