Charity Masterclass: go behind the scenes of a multi-million pound charity

Did you know the University was founded by charitable giving more than a century ago?

Since then, we have continued to raise money from alumni and friends for a range of projects addressing some of society’s biggest challenges. Millions of pounds have been given to ensure that disadvantaged students have access to the education they deserve, to enable our researchers to make crucial breakthroughs and to provide outstanding facilities for students, staff and the community.

As we continue the tradition of fundraising at the University, we are inviting students to take part in a Charity Masterclass to gain an insight into the work that we do.

We are offering five students an exclusive opportunity to meet supporters who have donated to our projects, to speak with world-class researchers and to take part in a tour that showcases the history of charitable giving to the University with special access to some hidden spaces on campus.

This opportunity to go behind the scenes of a multi-million pound charity is great for any student wishing to develop a career in the charity sector or higher education.
