We've invited University of Birmingham students to submit their entrepreneurial ideas for a chance to win a £5,000 prize.

The Ronjon Nag Commercialisation Prize will be awarded to the student tech project or business idea with the strongest commercial potential.

Once again we are inviting our alumni to join the pitch event live on Zoom, where students will have the opportunity to present their ideas to Ronjon and a panel of alumni entrepreneurs. Following the presentations we will invite alumni to ask questions and vote for their favourite.

The event will start at 20:00 BST (12.00 PST) and finish by 21.15 BST (13.15 PST). A Zoom link will be sent to you prior to the event.

We hope you can join us for this exciting event. The competition has been a huge success over the past two years and we hope you can join us to hear directly from budding student entrepreneurs at Birmingham and show them your support. You can see a taster of what happened at last years event here. With thanks to Ronjon Nag (BSc Electrical Engineering, 1984) for hosting.

Want to enter your innovative idea?
If you’re a budding UoB student entrepreneur and want to take part then you have until 4 June to apply and be in with the chance of winning the £5000 prize - Full details can be found here.
